I have been a little bummed, by the few visitors and feedback I am getting from the English part of the site. I get probably 80% of all site traffic from the German speaking world (Europe) and sometimes I feel like I better write a german story or article, as I also get a lot more interaction from the German speaking crowd.
I have not had a meaningful connection and e-mail exchange / chat with English speakers for years it feels. So if I am a little more quiet, that is the reason for it. I like deep connections, where you have a longer conversation, and not just small talk and hi / bye interaction. Since I live now in the USA, this is especially hard for me, as I feel isolated and would like to make friends, with the goal of having relationships with people in real life, meeting in person and knowing them as friends and hopefully more, who knows. I usually don't talk so direct or about what I feel, as I think it might sound negative, but I just have to say it, because you probably have noticed that there has been less posts by me on the English part of this site.
I don't know what to do to change this. To have more visitors from the English speaking crowd, sometimes I think that most people in the feeding community don't even know my site exists and I wonder what is different in the German speaking world, that everybody seems to know it there. If you have an idea how to promote it better, please let me know, I have been pondering this problem for a long time.
